Minors across the country purchase or make fake IDs in order to buy alcohol and get into bars. While most of these people possess their fake ID to have more fun, getting caught with it can result in serious consequences.

Officer arresting a man

Possession of a fake ID can be treated as either a misdemeanor or felony, depending on the intended use of the fake ID. For college students, a fake ID arrest can result in disciplinary hearings that can lead to suspension or even expulsion.

If you have been arrested for possession of a fake ID, schedule your free consult with our attorneys to determine what legal options are available to you.
